Testimony of a Former Spy and Eldest Son of Hamas founder

Tim.L note: Something interesting I came across while browsing the web

Mosab Yousef, a former terrorist and the son of a Hamas founder appeared on The 700 Club to share about his experiences about becoming a Christian. He studied many religions prior to his choice. He also talks about how Christianity helps him love his enemies: to deal with bad memories, to win over enemies through love, and not to dictate over them. "This is how Christ defeated the world, when he loved in the most difficult and painful position on the Cross." http://downloads.cbn.com/cbnnewsplayer/cbnplayer.swf?aid=14417

Mosab is the first-born son of one of the founders of Hamas, Sheik Hassan Yousef. Mosab left Islam and secretly worked with Israeli intelligence to capture terrorists on the condition that they be imprisoned and not killed. He prevented suicide bombings and other attacks, and has recently been granted political asylum in the US in June 2010.

Rainbow Home Ex-Resident

Recognize that face? No, not the one of the right..... that's me! The guy on the left. Yep, you got it! That's Daniel who spent a few years at Rainbow home. His ambition was to be a "taiko", that's coloquail for a gangster. Today, he's a "consultant" at an Optical shop earning a honest living.

The Bible exhorts us to do good at all times to all people. That's what the Rainbow Home has been doing, come rain or shine since it's inception. Not everyone will "graduate" and turn out how we want them to be. But the beacon still shines irregardless whether some turn bad while others find Jesus and make something out of their lives.

Let us continue doing good!

1000+ Sermons For You To Use

The web is just fantastic. Now they've even a site with sermons all prepared with Power Point Presentations. Of course you'll have to sign up as a member. The pro of this is there is aid for church workers. The con side is aren't full time pastors supposed to be devoted to prayer, the word and preaching? Acts 6:2

Going Double

We are going double in September. As we prepare to double our worship service, we know that more is required of the worship team. The strategy is for the same team to play twice each Sunday.
1. Did I hear 'play twice'. Wow! - playing twice - what an honor. To be able to do the thing you love and are gifted for a second time - what an honor. Its like a double helping of ice-cream, double delicious cakes, double premium Brazilian coffee...or double any food you like to eat.
